2. Uploaded Content

Images, videos, PDFs, and other files you upload to BersihBG are processed solely to deliver the results you request. Files processed by client-side tools (including background removal, image compression, format conversion, and PDF operations) never leave your browser — they are processed entirely on your device using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Files sent to our AI servers for tools like upscaling and colorization are processed temporarily and automatically deleted within 24 hours. We do not sell, share, or use your uploaded content for any purpose other than providing the service.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the BersihBG service; (b) manage your account and process payments; (c) send you important service updates, security alerts, and administrative messages; (d) respond to your support requests and inquiries; and (e) analyse usage patterns to improve our tools and user experience. We do not use your uploaded content for training AI models or any purpose beyond service delivery.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in to your account, remember your preferences (such as theme selection), and understand how the service is used through anonymised analytics. We also use third-party advertising cookies from Google AdSense to serve relevant ads. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Your account information is stored securely using Firebase Authentication and Firestore, both of which employ industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

BersihBG uses the following third-party services: Google Firebase (authentication, database, and hosting), Google Cloud Run (AI processing servers), and Google AdSense (advertising). We do not share your uploaded content with third parties for their own purposes.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory compliance purposes. Usage analytics data may be retained in anonymised form.

9. Children's Privacy

BersihBG is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete the information.
